We do not accept any commission, rebate, referral fee, gift, entertainment or hospitality from your company or any affiliate. Any such offer will be disclosed in full to our client, and we will request that it be converted into an equivalent discount on the client’s price.

Nothing in this visit constitutes an endorsement of your company, and we will not represent ourselves as your agent, distributor or representative.

Handed over at the start of the visit. This notice is a statement of our engagement terms; it is not a contract with the supplier and creates no obligation on the supplier.

Why this piece of paper exists.

Every sourcing agent in this market says they work for the buyer. Almost none of them will put it in writing and hand it to the factory, because in this industry the factory is usually the one paying.

A verbal assurance is worth nothing at the gate. A printed page, in the language the factory reads, changes the room: the person showing you around stops treating you as a possible commission and starts treating you as somebody’s auditor.

What happens if a factory offers us something

It gets disclosed to you in the report, in the interests declaration, whether it was a percentage, a red envelope, or lunch. We then ask that it be converted into a discount on your price. If it cannot be converted, we decline it and record that we declined it.

What this document is not

It is not a contract with the factory and it does not bind them to anything. It binds us. That is the whole point: the only party whose behaviour this sheet can change is ours.
